Marshall, Texas

This week, my family and I came to Marshall, Texas.  About 40 minutes outside of Shreveport, Texas.  My mom's dad's mother lives out here, right next door to a daughter of her's.  Which at her age is wonderful.  My brother, mother, father, dog-bear, and I came in our Jeep and it took about 3 1/2 hours.  When we arrived to Shreveport, we were an hour or two early so my mother called my 2nd cousin, Chris.  We went to Chili's, then Target, next Starbucks, and finally after a while we came to my great- grandmother's house.  We (my cousin, mom, and I) played Scrabble.  At the same time we were watching The Sound Of Music.  At about 10:30, my brother and I went to bed.  This morning when we awakened, we had waffles with blueberries.  After that I went outside to play with the Beard Man.  We played hide- and- seek and I didn't just run around trying to "find" him, he ran around (surprisingly) to find me.  When I came back inside, my Aunt Sue, who lives next door, was talking to my mother.  My Aunt Sue asked if we would like to see a movie. Our reply was yes.  We arrived to the theatre, which is so much different from the Flower Mound ones. This one had 8 theatre screens. 8. Anyway, she asked if we wanted to see The Water Horse.  Well once again we replied with yes.  If you liked Eragon, you will like this. It seems as if it is a Disney movie, but I'm almost certain that it's not.  It's an okay movie for a twelve year old, but for a 5, 6, or 7 year old it would be much better for that age group than mine. I hope to be back before school because I want to talk to some friends before school. Have Happy New Year.

My Birthday Presents

Man, birthday week! Wow, it's the best week of every year! My parents got me contacts, my dad's parents gave me two shirts and two sweaters. My mom's dad gave me money, my mom's mom is taking me shopping, my dad's grandparents gave me a Kohl's gift card, my dad's sister and dad's other grandmother gave me pair of awesome shoes. I haven't even seen my aunts, uncles, cousins, or second cousins, and so on. Now for my re explanation: Birthday week is the best week of the year except for... Christmas! Happy birthday to me!

My Thanksgiving Week!

Wow! I can't believe in 3 days I'll be 12 years old! That's right on Thanksgiving, it's my birthday! On Thanksgiving day, I'll be thanking God and my parents for birth and thanking God for food and water and shelter! The bad thing is I have to make a 16 hour drive in a Jeep with 4 people and luggage! Uh! That will be the greatest ride of my life, but since I've done it a couple times. I still don't like it! I love the people I get to see that I don't get to see often. The food is also always awesome though! I'm also off school 'till next monday and that's awesome!

For Someone To Listen

Hey guy who goes to my school, I hope you know who you are! Hey, what's that website? And anyone who's reading, he is not my boyfriend. JUST A FRIEND! Just comment on what that website was, thanks! Nobody is going to believe what I did today! I did my math homework at home, and studied for my FOLDER Quiz that I have today. Well, I forgot my math folder at home and so I had to do tonight's homework in class instead of my quiz and have to do my FOLDER Quiz tomorrow morning. Huh, so frustrating! Oh, and I forgot my entire rough draft for my paper at home that was due today. Cheese, what a rough day!

My Friends That I Like To Call My Family

My friends and I are so weird when we are together. The other day my friend and I just finished running our dreadful everyday two laps at school and I grabbed her arm and our friend goes, "It's not nice to hold people hostrich!" and we all thought hostrich? My other friend said, "Did you just say ostrich?" And so now my friend's name is ostrich. Yeah! The one thing I love about my school is that you know in movies where the boys are always away from the girls and vice versa, well my school is the total opposite. Girls, like myself, hang out with guys and the guys hang out with the girls and some of them hang out because they're dating and their friends just follow because they don't want to be alone at their old table, but more likely you ask someone who's your best friend and they might say a person of the opposite sex. Which I think is awesome because it's like we're one huge bickering family and I'm thankful to be where I am in the family. Shadow Ridge Middle School Rocks!

My Future Ideas

My future ideas maybe a little different from any other twelve-year-old girl. My plans are to go all the way through junior high and high school improving on this idea. I hope to maybe get a scholarship for superb grades and if not to go to Medical School and become... a surgeon! Heart, brain, or any other part of the body. Like i said, some 12 year old girls hate to even think of blood, but not me! I love... well... everything in the body is so interesting, I want to go hands on to learn and not just to read about it in a book. To me, life depends on surgeons. I want to hold someone's life in my hands and help them to keep it going- children, adults, elder citizens, and anyone of any age, I want to make the world a better place to live. That's my career dream!

My family plans are to not get married until after I'm out of medical school, and when I do find that one special person, they will, hopefully, be christian and great working skills- kids wise. Hopefully, they will have a career plan, as I do, or
I hope to help them find the right spot that not only do I think it's the right place for him, but I hope to help him find the spot he loves, too. I would like to have 2 kids, as my mom does, after medical school and marriage. in that order. As you can tell, I like to help and so that's my word for my life... Help!

My Plans for the Weekend

Today my plans are try to type a paper, go to my last game of soccer and win, deliver some of my cookie dough to my peeps (ha, ha), and try to get a nap, which I think is impossible in my house, don't you think- well no offense,but you probably can't help me with that. Yeah, well my Saturday sounds great, doesn't? Tomorrow, I'm going to church and working with the little preschoolers and then probably going to lunch with family and delivering more of my cookie dough.

School

My schedule is: Band, Pre-AP Science, Gym, World Geo, Pre-AP Math, English, and then for my last period is Reading.  Well for band we worked on a song called Rolling Along or Mary Had a Little Lamb.  Science we did a CBA.  Gym we ran 2 laps.  World Geo we worked on typing a paper we've been working on for weeks.  Math we just worked on homework.  English we did spelling words.  And finally in Reading we just finished a novel Running Out Of Time so we have a test over it very soon so we did just review.  So sounds like I had a good day, well I did. 

Genesis

I've been at my church all my life and I know a lot of the people there.  For the last couple of months we have been studying the book of Genesis.  We have gone through every chapter up to chapter 10 today.  This morning we talked about chapter 9 and 10.  Chapter nine was about the new beginning after the flood.  Noah built an ark because God said that the flood was imminent.  Noah's ark was made of gopherwood and him and his three sons, wife, two of every animal on Earth were to get on the ark to protect all of them from the flood.  Chapter 10 just talked about how the flood killed everyone except Noah, his ark, the animals, his three sons, and his wife were the only ones alive, so God told Noah that him and his family were to rule the animals and the earth. That's where we ended and hopefully we can get farther in the book, so that i can grow more spiritually toward God.
